Job Description:
Oversight of materials testing/geotechnical department
Project Manager/Coordinator
On-Site Inspector
Qualifications:
Registered Geotechnical Engineer (or Civil with significant Geotechnical experience) or Engineering Geologist (OR and/or WA)
Required Experience:
Experience in managing multiple projects of varying sizes
Managing up to 4 employees
Excellent communication skills
Proposal Writing
Preparing Invoicing/Change Orders/etc.
Geotech Report Writing
Knowledge of ODOT requirements
Soil sampling, analysis, and classification
Slope stability analysis and remediation
Geotech Reporting per ASTM
Retaining Wall and Foundation Design
Geotechnical borehole logging & soil identification
Operation of geotechnical material testing equipment
Additional Experience Desired by Employer:
Understanding of geotechnical laboratory procedures
